Alone he came in this world,

SWEET PAIN.....

I see you with my eyes closed,
I hear you in my silence.
I feel you in my solitude,
I dream of you in the darkest night.

The clock has circled a million times,
The sun & moon played their games all the while.
They said time would heal all,
Still i remember only you and none of them all.

Pinning on my favorite drug,
Your memory still gives my heart a thud.
Lost myself in tranquility,
This sweet pain has become a necessity....

CHILDHOOD DAYS !!!

I saved it in my hands,
so tightly in my fist.
The gripping fingers let go the sand,
I watched it happen so swift.

It was my childhood,
so secure in my clinch.
As now it makes me sit and brood,
I swear i had never felt so nostalgic.

The sunny summer days,
or winter morning blues.
Remember the chirpy innocent laughter,
and the mischievous childhood plays.

With joy we made the castle of clay,
and strengthened it with love and care.
Till waves came on the shore,
We witnessed its rampage as it tore.

Ever since i learned that lesson,
and chided myself from believing in eternity.
Still today i hope audaciously,
my childhood days would touch me with serendipity.....

DREAM AGAIN....

The dawn has broken,
and given us the light.

The shimmering sun,
is floating in the sky.

New hopes,new dreams,
or maybe a desire within.

May it take my vision,
where my eyes meet the horizon.

I want to dream again,
dream again with a child's innocence.

I want to shun away,
shun away all the cynicism.

I want to set my mind free,
and make my spirit infinitely boundless.

Let me embrace the light today,
and curb away the darkness.

THE BRIDE

The bells are now tinkling,
on her ankles, they are hanging.

The bangles are now jingling,
on a rhythm, they are singing.

Drapes herself in deepest crimson,
she blushes the colour of setting sun.

Lifting up her kohled eyes,
she saw ahead her dream that lies.

With trembling hands and weakened knees,
she moves ahead to reach the altar.

Her glistened eyes that shone so bright,
has struck all with an amazing aura.

The pious vows that fell from her lips,
has changed her life for ever and ever.

She's a woman, She's a bride,
tonight she shines with a gleaming pride.

PEACE

The mortal within is dieing ,
the dreams have charred away.

The faces look so dreary,
they have lived their lives a painstaking way.

I feel i am loosing,
loosing myself away.

This night seems the longest ,
as i wait to see the day.

A million faces, a million lives ,
where do i stand amidst this crowd.

With pious prayers , on scarlet lips ,
each look saint,their vices in a shroud.

With arms open i stand here ,
the winds gushing away like whips ,

i may not be an angel today,
but that makes me no lesser proud.

I do not wish to hide today,
a single trait from You Oh'Lord!

Bless me now,or punish me for my deeds ,
it would be nothing but eternal bliss.

For You are there with me indeed ,
gives me nothing but sheer peace !

WINGS TO FLY

Give me wings to fly,
and no more a reason to cry.

Maybe a chance to prove,
and give it one last try.

Give me power to bear,
and stop me from nothing to dare.

Maybe a chance to stare,
in my destiny's eyes from here.

Give me faith so strong,
and let not my miseries prolong.

Maybe a chance to build on,
the zeal that sets me on.
