A THOUSAND MILES....

A thousand nights from now,

A thousand miles away.

When i close my eyes,

from my feet you make me sway.

As we sit beneath the stars,

and count them in the dark.

You whisper something in my ear,

sweet-nothings is all i hear.

It makes me blush, it makes me smile,

and i hear your deep sigh.

I stare at the moon,

and wonder why you are leaving so soon.

I feel you are drifting ,

maybe a thousand miles again.

A PRAYER

Touch me oh' angel,

relieve me of my pain.

Bless me oh' God,

let not my efforts go in vain.

Guide me to the truth,

as i say this prayer again.

Test me not oh' master,

my soul is as pure as the season's first rain.

Forgive me for my sin's,

as it's burden is driving me insane.

Grant me my wishes,

make my spirit simple and plain...

LOOKING AHEAD

I watch the rain drops hit my window pane,

i wish to step out in the rain

and let it wash away my pain.

There's nothing left that i fear,

i am ready to wipe away my tear.

through these moist eyes

my dreams dont seem to be clear.

It's time to say another prayer,

i dont bother, i dont care,

let people come and glare.

i am going to drive my life's gear,

and change my story right from here....

THE NIGHT

Sitting by the night,

i saw the sky's twilight.

As words betray my insight,

my thoughts engulfed me outright.

I was drifted to a new world,

quiet new to my sight.

Blinded by a scintillating light,

i thought i saw an angel

and hoped that i was right.

Looking pure and shining bright,

it blessed and held me tight.

Suddenly i woke up and sat upright,

my dream had left me in a mesmerizing plight.

But i had never had such a blissful night...
